About This Role
The Associate Director, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) plays a crucial program leadership role within the organization's Enterprise Risk Management function. Leveraging your in-depth biotech/pharmaceutical expertise, you will build capabilities and risk management acumen within business functions. You will engage with stakeholders responsible for risk management activities, foster relationships and develop insights to mature the global risk management program at Biogen. This position involves championing a risk-aware culture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing fit-for-purpose policies and processes to enhance the company's risk resilience.
The Associate Director, Enterprise Risk Management ensures robust risk management practices are established, implemented and monitored across the full organization, including R&D, Commercialization, Manufacturing and Corporate Functions. By providing data-driven insights and collaborating with various stakeholders, this role contributes to the organization's ability to make informed decisions, protect its assets, and maintain regulatory compliance in a dynamic industry. This role has accountability across all three risk management verticals for Biogen including the Corporate Risk Register, Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management.
