Job Summary

Responsible for vendor and supplier management, inventory management, supporting operational execution including new production introduction and sustainability efforts. May manage a team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Ensure new devices, products, programs, projects are successfully deployed and implemented into the operations.

  • Support sales and operations planning (S&OP) process by ensuring execution of production plans.

  • Support outsourced vendor and supplier management responsible for ensuring consistent high quality and standardized operations, contracted service level agreements are being followed, priorities are set and are being held accountable for deliverables.

  • Leverage operational key performance indicators and metrics to partner with quality team to drive improvements resulting in increased customer experience and reduction in costs. Support focus on improvement in inventory, production management, transportation and cost.

  • Communicate and execute sustainability plan for supply chain operations.

  • Assist in developing requirements for system enhancements to existing operational applications and/or system integrations as new tools are introduced.

  • Ensure your team is capable of adopting new tools/applications and pull in additional resources as needed.

  • Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation.

  • Key contact for field and corporate escalations, working quickly to resolve all issues related to operations and vendor management.

  • Demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of operations management, logistics and transportation, vendor management, inventory management.

  • Contribute to the hiring, training and onboarding of new operations team members.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
