The purpose of the Packing Quality Engineer is to represent the customer in the Packing operation, making sure the products are Packed to the LEGO right Quality level. Is responsible to set the Quality Standards when needed and to communicate any changes, is also responsible to collaborate with the other areas to deploy a quality mindset in the area.




Core Responsibilities:




  • Ensure that the products that are released from LVA comply with the LEGO Quality requirements. Follow up on global and local incidents related to product quality and coordinate containment activities and countermeasures that arise from them; Provide support in the process of corrective actions to find containments, root causes, robust countermeasures, etc. and verifying efficiency of actions affecting the system. Act as a point of contact for the Consumer Perceived Quality team.

  • Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity in the product or processes, using of LCI Tools and other Quality tools such as FMEA and Control Plan.

  • Lead and support as required in the implementation of global projects related Quality, and share the resulting information with the relevant collaborators.

  • Report the operation Quality performance, analyzing the trends, and propose improvement projects or activities based on detected trends Promoting the Quality attitude in the area

  • Support the creation, implementation and deployment of Quality criteria.


Do you have what it takes?



  • More tan 3 years of experience on Manufacturing and Quality areas.

  • Leading Quality Tools as FMEA, Control Plan, Process Diagrams and improvement tools as Lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 preferably TS 16949

  • Using Minitab system (R&R, Paretos, MSA)

  • RRCA and Corrective actions methodologies (Ishikawa, 8D, 5W etc.)

  • Leading Improvement projects.

  • English fluent level

  • Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering bachelor degree or related


  • Note: This position is based at our LEGO Virginia manufacturing factory located in Richmond. This is not a remote position.


The salary for this position has a range of 79,044 - 118,566 annual based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The definitive compensation may vary in alignment with the selected candidate's professional background, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
