Job Description:

Infosys is looking for Lead SRE Consultant. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to the proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, Texas or Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires travel.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 Years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps implementation and consulting experience
Experience in analyzing application code of at least 3 of the following languages or environments: Java, Python, Node.js., Angular
or React JavaScript for single page web apps, Go or C/C++
Strong experience with object orientation, microservices and Distributed Systems
Advanced call stack analysis and how the call stack is portrayed across the various programming languages
Proficient with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm etc.
Shell Scripting
Experience in Designing and developing DevOps pipelines is mandatory
Experience in Branching and Merging Strategy
Experience in Infrastructure as Code

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Architecture - App architecture, Infra architecture and DB architecture
Defining SLOs and SLIs and their implementation for customer journey
Establish architectural runway; design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable
Experience in System Performance Management
Experience in defining ITSM Processes and implementing them
Implementing SRE bast practices
Performance evaluation of various hardware modules like memory, IO, network stack would be good to have

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
