Senior Legal Recruiter (Epiq Associate Solutions)

Job Description:

The Senior Recruiter will have responsibility for collaborating with the Epiq Associate Solutions (EAS) team across the United States to fulfill program-based engagements at corporations and law firms. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of substantive, full life cycle law firm or corporate/legal recruiting experience, direct client and sales communication experience, the ability to foster and build an extensive bench of legal talent over a prolonged sales cycle, and experience undertaking leadership initiatives in a self-directed manner.  


Responsibilities: 



  • Source for new candidates across the United States and continually develop and build a bench of experienced candidates




  • Build relationships with state and local bar associations




  • Build relationships with existing candidates to staff best-in-market candidates, create brand loyalty, and understand current and future availability




  • Network at corporate and legal events across the US




  • Collaborate with the review and EAS management team daily to understand existing and upcoming program needs and follow-through on appropriate, related recruiting actions.  Follow Epiq processes and procedures around placement and onboarding of candidates




  • Develop and maintain skills testing for new candidates




  • Meet daily and weekly metrics around candidate interviews and candidates skill tested




  • Utilize creative approaches to sourcing new candidates (referrals, social media, networking)




  • Draft bios of existing candidates and incoming candidates accepted to the EAS program




  • Track background and skills of existing and new candidates submitted to EAS for consideration




  • Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures around the onboarding, development and utilization of attorney talent




  • Perform project and program onboarding tasks for existing and new candidates




  • Track active assignments for existing and new candidates



Education/Qualifications/Skills 



  •  7+ years of high volume, full-life cycle law firm or corporate/legal recruiting and staffing experience (note: this is NOT a document review recruiting position)




  •  BA/BS or equivalent   




  • Strong comfort level with MS Office (including Excel).




  •  Experience with applicant tracking systems (such Bullhorn) and candidate onboarding systems (such as Workday). 




  • Experience dealing with corporate/legal and law firm partner level personnel




  • Experience with leveraging social media platforms and online job boards (such as LinkedIn)




  • Ability to work on a collaborative, busy team, providing constant updates on progress and status of recruiting efforts.




  • Tenacity in driving placement and onboarding requirements to meet business objectives 




  •  Must be self-directed and able to produce great results consistently in a remote environment with minimal supervision 




  • Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information 




  • Strong professionalism, ethical behavior, and trustworthiness




  • Willingness to cold-recruit candidates (cold outreach via email, social media, and phone) 




  • Ability to build relationships with passive candidates




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 




  • Highly detail-oriented and organized 




  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at one time while maintaining organization and attention to detail.   




  • Flexible and easily adapts to change, handles pressure and high demands with a positive attitude.




  • Flexible schedule to work Monday through Friday, as well as weekend hours when required




  • Willingness to travel when necessary to attend events and client meetings in the US.

The Compensation range for this role is 69,507.00 - 139,012.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
