About the role:
As a Mexico Carrier Sales Manager for TQL, you will be a pivotal member of one of our newest divisions. You’ll be responsible for establishing and developing new carrier relationships for our Mexico and cross-border sales team. You’ll also assist with evaluating and improving existing relationships and utilization of our carrier network to support our customers’ transportation needs.

What you’ll be doing:
Sourcing and qualifying new cross-border Mexico carriers
Developing and analyzing KPIs to evaluate performance of existing carriers and communicating findings and recommendations for improvements to internal stakeholders
Working with our operations team to maintain and improve service levels and implement new carrier initiatives
Handling carrier disputes, accounting needs, and freight claims as needed
Researching market trends to recommend process efficiencies that improve internal and external customer relationships
Maintaining regular touchpoints with carriers to ensure service levels are meeting and exceeding expectations
Monitoring capacity for our customers, addressing any issues, and notifying stakeholders of industry changes
What you’ll need:
5+ years’ in Mexico carrier sales, cross-border experience preferred
Fluent in Spanish and English
Ability to travel up to 50% - primary travel to Laredo
Ability to travel to and from Mexico when needed
Equipment to work remotely when not traveling to carrier appointments
Strong carrier rate negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Suite skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience in a fast-paced environment with rapid and everchanging priorities
High availability for internal and external customers – we are 24/7/365
