In this role, you will:
Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area
Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management
Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience leading an Operations Team in a production environment
Experience leading other exempt level managers
Ability to anticipate and make timely and independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
Financial industry background with Lock Box or other Banking Operations experience
Knowledge and understanding of Lockbox Operations department workflow processes
Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
Experience directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
Experience driving process improvement efforts to gain efficiencies
Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, and measurements

Experience in trend analysis and recommending appropriate changes to identify and address root cause issues

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization including senior leadership/management

Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer and partner relationships
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
This is a weekend position to work Thursday - Monday and off on Tuesday/Wednesday
Hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm working with open ended requirement to support business needs and volumes
Flexibility and willing to work non-standard hours; including holidays, weekends & extended shifts if needed to support this 24/7 location
Ability to work on-site at the posted work location
