About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Brand Manager as a part of our Auto and Consumer Lending team. The Brand Manager will be providing financing for a premium line of cars/ premium auto manufacturer and be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies that enhance the market presence and customer perception of our auto and consumer lending products. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and cross functional collaboration to ensure the brand's growth and competitiveness.

In this role, you will:
  • Leads efforts of coordinating relationships, owning communication and execution between the brands and the two organizations ensuring coordination and accountability of shared goals/objectives.
  • Responsible for supporting Auto Relationship Managers or Sales Advisors on enhancing business productivity and improving client acquisition strategy. Promotes business growth programs, improves client acquisition techniques, and identifies opportunities to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Act as a top subject matter expert within Business Growth Strategy functional area to lead initiatives that promote and advance companywide finance with the goal of growth expansion.
  • Manage the process to identify and purchase auto loans in the secondary market and potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Lead business growth strategies for business development requiring in-depth evaluation.
  • Support various Business Growth Strategy projects to maximize growth and minimize expenses.
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding implementation of innovative and significant business strategies that significantly influence the business and financial operations.
  • Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership within Business Growth Strategy functional area.
  • Act as an advisor within Business Growth Strategy functional area to senior leadership in order to develop or influence initiatives that promote and advance companywide finance growth opportunities.
  • Participate in process to both identify and purchase potential acquisition opportunities as well as loans in the secondary market.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise within Business Growth Strategy functional area to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business strategies that enhance companywide finance and growth.
  • Collaborate with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an advisor to leadership within Business Growth Strategy functional area.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Auto Industry experience
  • 5+ years of Direct Auto Finance Lending experience
  • 5+ years of Strategic Project Management
  • Proven experience in Brand Management, preferably in the financial services or consumer lending industry
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
  • A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
