On the Software Engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager Platform Engineer, you will support projects including PEP- Property Engagement Platform.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Analyze new application bugs reported by hotel teams and QA teams and prioritize in line with the overall product backlog.
• Support prioritizing and managing the product backlog.
• Support special projects , as needed .
• Conducting functional impact analysis.
• Assessing & refining technical solution design with the SE technical analyst team

How you will collaborate with others:

• Work with business teams to capture requirements and refine them for development teams using agile methodology and Confluence/Jira tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across technology, product, and business teams to successfully deliver planned releases.

What you will take ownership of:

• As an Associate Business Analyst, Property Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of innovative Hilton property capabilities and experiences in collaboration with product, business, and technology teams.
• This position will be committed to gathering and refining requirements for Hilton's next-generation Property Management System (PMS). You will be responsible for coordinating the documentation, analysis, and validation of functional requirements, in partnership with Property product and business stakeholders .

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Experience in Technology or related field
• Hotel experience (Front Office/Hotel Operations)
• Hands-on experience with Property Management systems (i.e. - PEP, OnQ, or Opera)
• This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
• Travel up to 20%.

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience , or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
• Three (3) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Two (2) + years of hotel experience , (Front Office/Hotel Operations)
• Two (2) + years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Knowledge of the Agile Methodology and prominent tools such as Jira and Confluence
