Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Precision Surface Grinding Technician located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the Precision Surface Grinding Technician role involves operation grinding machines.

What a typical day looks like:

• Grind top and bottom, square and grind all parts to size


• Set up an operate Okamoto water grinder, 16x32, 12x24, 20x40


• Ability to hold tight tolerances


• Inspect and document all work


• Efficiently run two machines


• Understand and follow schedule


• Record time on projects


• Maintain good surface finishes


• Mitsui surface grinding


• Clean and maintain grinder and surrounding area

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 3-5 years grinding experience


• CNC ID/OD experience a plus


• CNC Grinding a plus


• General machine shop experience
