Job Description:

All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.

Floater (Machinist)must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
Machining experience a plusWillingness to learn more than one machine such as panel saw, calibrator, and top clampAbility to sand and offbear as needed.Attention to detail.Basic computer knowledge is a must.Responsible for setting up machines according to programs and ensuring parts are in the correct positions on the machine. .Must be able to read or willing to learn to read a tape measure in inches and millimeters.Must be able to learn to identify wood species and grades of veneers.Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularlySafety MUST Always be your #1 priority
