My client are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our civil engineering firm, specializing in Residential and Commercial Land Development, Public Works, Municipal Projects, and Transportation Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage engineering projects from design through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Develop and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development, municipal, and transportation projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and public agencies, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Prepare technical reports, memos, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Manage permits and coordinate with local authorities for project approvals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
4+ years of experience in civil engineering (7+ years preferred), with experience in land development, public works, and transportation infrastructure.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Preferred Experience:
Expertise in Residential and Commercial Land Development.
Experience with Public Works and Municipal Projects.
Background in Transportation Infrastructure projects.
