About us

Synima is an award winning creative video and animation agency originally founded in 2000 in the U.K. In 2019 we expanded and opened an office in New York serving a wide roster of clients in many different sectors.

Synima is seeking a creative organized Producer/Account Manager to join our growing team, they will report directly to the Head of Production. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller but also someone who can handle multiple projects from creative to delivery whilst maintaining our very high standards for our clients.

This includes ideation/ managing creative, development, quoting, pre production, remote/on location production, post production (including graphics and animation) through to final delivery as well as managing the client through out the whole process.

This position is hybrid you will be expected in our office in Dumbo, Brooklyn 2 days a week and the rest of the time can be remote.

Expectations and Responsibilities

Pre-Production:
  • Organizing pre-production and shooting schedules; booking crew, finding locations, sourcing actors, submitting permits, booking travel and accommodation, creating call sheets, obtaining props and costumes.
  • Working with creatives and script writers - coming up with initial ideas, storyboarding and scripts.
  • Working with Motion Designers and animators to develop style frames and storyboards.

Production:
  • Producing/Directing on shoots when required.
  • Working closely with all production team and crew.
  • Keeping the production running to schedule and budget.
  • Able to troubleshoot with any problems that arise during production
  • Edit-producing - working with editors to oversee final films and animations.
  • Organizing voiceover artists and transcripts - plus foreign versions.
  • Obtaining footage, images and music rights.
  • Overseeing animation projects and working closely with the animators.

Post-Production:
  • Deliver final product on time and on budget.
  • Quality checking - reviewing productions to ensure they meet standards.
  • Supplying all relevant documentation; Transcripts/Accessibility Transcripts/Filming Permissions/Agreed expenses.

Account/Client Management:
  • Managing clients throughout the whole production process and building up successful working relationships.
  • Quoting jobs
  • Write and submit pitch presentations/proposals to bid on contracts for projects.
  • Supplying Cost confirmations.
  • To deliver content on time and on budget that directly aligns with our clients goals.
