Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager (Cloud & Risk) / Scrum Lead: HYBRID REMOTE - MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS REMOTE

The Project manager will lead an effort to plan and implement a connectivity solution between a contingency footprint of cloud hosted applications and Third-party providers that require private connectivity. This project manager will work closely with senior managers as well as technical teams representing a variety of competencies, which will need to work in coordination to complete this complex effort within expected timelines. This specific workstream has a strong focus on network and telecommunications technologies. The scope of responsibilities for this role includes the following areas:


•Scope - Define the boundaries of work for each team


•Activity Planning & Sequencing -The actions and order of work items


•Develop Resource Planning - The amount of people and skillset to do the work


•Develop Schedules - Timetable of work items


•Develop and administer project plan - Create and track the primary document that controls the content and timing of the work


•Issue and Risk Planning - Understand, manage, document, and communicate issues and risks pertaining to delivery milestones


•Budget - Understand and contribute to project budget


•Schedule Modification - Adapt, shift priorities, and resources within scoped dates


•Provide Insight - Best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences


•Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall department and business requirements


•Facilitates planning, team learning, and assists adaptation of processes to ensure the quality of team solutions.


•Encourages a continuous improvement environment to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles


•Outcomes - Work with management to define and prioritize


•Trade-Offs - Identify between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner


•Communication -Proactively foster communication between internal and external project stakeholders


•Partnership - Enable collaboration


•Agile/Scrum - Lead daily scrum, sprint reviews and retrospectives


•Escalate issues, impediments, and drive to resolution


•Relationships - Build, maintain, and proactively foster internal and external to the team to ensure project success


•Influence - Drive key decisions across stakeholder groups


•Monitor and Report


•Data - Deliver status, charts / dashboards, and up to date metrics


•Productivity - Create and deliver metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup, changes, incidents, and stories)


•WIP & Backlog Refinement reporting
