Job Title: Loan Workout Specialist


Location: West Des Moines, IA


Job Summary: As a Loan Workout Specialist, you will support the Legal Remedies team by gathering and organizing media for loans to aid in the litigation process of defaulted accounts. You will collaborate with internal teams and external law firms to ensure the smooth handling of these processes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Access various systems to collect media items, compile them into PDFs, and send the information to external law firms.


• Assist in creating and completing reports using Microsoft Excel.


• Create and manage lists in E-Car.


• Support ad hoc legal remedy projects as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and OneNote.


• Experience with Adobe Pro or Adobe Reader for combining documents.


• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to follow specific procedures.


• Understanding of loan processing.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in finance, banking, administration, or banking operations.


• Experience in loan processing.

Additional Skills:

• Legal administration or support experience.


• Highly organized with strong time management skills.


• Excellent partnership and collaboration skills.

Role Details: In this role, you will participate in or support low-complexity initiatives within Loan Workout. You will review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures, and provide information to client personnel. You will receive direction from your supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing an understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience in Loan Workout or Commercial Lending, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
