JOB SUMMARY:

Act on behalf of the Construction Manager in his/her absence. Mentor and guide other construction workers on projects and ensure a safe work environment. Make recommendations as to the process and project flow are made to the Construction Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :


  • Provide on-site guidance to ERE employees and sub-contractors .
  • Work with the Construction Manager to ensure all ERE projects are completed in a timely manne r.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all ERE employees and sub-contractors .
  • Act as key contact in the absence of the Construction Manager .
  • Promote a professional work environment .
  • Update customers, end-users, and contractors on project status .
  • Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport materials to job site(s) .
  • Provide constructive feedback to construction employees .
  • Work within and promote corporate values.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Ability to lead a team of construction employees .
  • Interpersonal skills .
  • Ability to relay thoughts in a professional manner .

  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Construction experience required .
  • Lead experience preferred .
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
