Process Lead-1st Shift at Hearthside Food Solutions LLC in Front Royal, Virginia

Job Description:

This is a 1st Shift Position, may be asked to cover different shifts on occasion/work overtime.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supports production staff on the Bakeries' Integrated Operating System with implementing daily management systems to improve production, safety and quality on every production line assigned.
• Responsible for improving line efficiencies while also reducing waste and unplanned downtime.
• Facilitates and present at meetings to ensure team awareness and engagement in quality expectations, production goals and company announcements.
• Assists in facilitating, developing and executing Corrective Actions for line losses and quality findings.
• Collect, investigate and analyze centerline data to improve processes and maintain documentation.
• Participate in GEMBA Walks and address findings.
• Analyze Quality and Production data for identification and resolution of issues.
• Participate in the implementation or maintenance of a Clean Inspect Lube Program (CIL).
• Participate and maintain the implementation of 5S.Develop and maintain Playbooks and Training materials.
• Identify and assist with implementation of improvement opportunities.
• Adheres to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures all appropriate documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Ensures that all members of the team follow company policies and that healthy and safety regulations are being enforced to meet safety compliance.
• Collaborates with Management, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to continuously improve processes, procedures and methods, seeking optimal efficiency and productivity with safety as the highest priority.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Other assigned duties, as needed.
