Job Summary: Santa Rosa Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper / Floor Technician to join our team. This dual role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for housekeeping duties as well as operating the floor scrubber machine and ensuring the cleanliness of all common areas.

Schedule/Pay:

• Full-time position, Sunday through Thursday, 6am - 2:00pm


• Pay starts at $18/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas.


• Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.


• Change bed linens and maintain laundry services as needed.


• Restock supplies in resident rooms and common areas.


• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

• Operate and maintain the floor scrubber machine to ensure floors are clean and presentable.


• Clean and maintain all types of flooring, including tile, and vinyl.


• Conduct routine inspections of floors and report any damage or maintenance needs.

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.


• Familiarity with floor care equipment, particularly floor scrubbers, is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
