Major Duties:

1. Leads multiple project initiatives assigned to the group

2. Identifies and implements strategic projects to close gaps, improve efficiency and effectiveness or deliver more robust offering for the CS Banking Operations team.

3. Supports new business initiatives in a controlled way, with a focus on key new global clients

4. Partners with relevant groups to ensure the required service is provided in a consistent manner and within the regulatory framework

5. Makes staffing decisions, manages expenses and salary review process for the division

6. Participates in developing division strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit; follows through to ensure that objectives are met

7. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

8. Responsible for managing multiple units or functions through the direct management of a group of managers

9. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

Knowledge:

Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. In-depth Banking Knowledge/Industry is required. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. High level of negotiation and influencing skills required.

Experience:

A College or University degree and/or relevant Banking experience is required.

Salary Range:
$141,910 - $195,155
