The Global Key Account Manager Semiconductor Materials position is a remote field-based position with the ideal candidate residing in Portland, OR or Tempe AZ. Domestic and international travel required to meet business needs.



Your Role:



As the Global Key Account Manager Semiconductor Materials, you will be responsible for large global semiconductor customers in the Planarization Business Field in North America. This role will function as the single point of contact for commercial and technical aspects. Additional responsibilities will include development of account action plans, achieving annual revenue growth targets, relationship management and ongoing customer support and satisfaction improvement. Working in full alignment with the broader business team including Research and Development, Marketing, Asset Management, Operations, Quality, and Legal, the Global Key Account Manager will coordinate key interactions with the customer ensuring the Planarization Business Field is making consistent and efficient progress toward achieving revenue growth. Position will require close customer engagement and internal alignment on approaches to be successful. Position reports to the US Head of Planarization Sales.



Principal Accountabilities:



  • Translating customer needs into actionable internal deliverables geared toward revenue growth.

  • Management of the commercial channel as customer interface with key stakeholders.

  • Prepare presentation materials for technical review meetings, joint development project updates, and track project score cards.

  • Manage and develop accurate customer demand forecasts.

  • Establish and maintain critical relationships with key customer decision makers across multiple functions including technology development, process, and quality.

  • Assist in developing and implement customer account strategies with concrete objectives and actions, including detailed assessments of growth opportunities, aligned with the Planarization business strategy.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of sales opportunities and pipeline status in CRM database to ensure programs are progressing in line with business goals.

  • Use business and financial skills to synthesize and analyze data in support of making business decisions.

  • Move work forward by effectively managing ambiguity, eliminating non-value-added work, and removing obstacles.




Who you are:




Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or other technical discipline

  • 5+ years of customer facing support experience.

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry (or equivalent).

  • 25% domestic and international travel




Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong understanding of Chemical or Engineering principles

  • Experience with CMP area including equipment or process development.

  • Demonstrated track record of relationship building and strong customer facing skills working in demanding customer environment.

  • Strong communication skills and proven cross functional team leadership required.

  • Experience managing, balancing, and influencing priorities of both the company and customers.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-centric environment.
