Pay: $20.14+/HR(Based on experience) plus $1.50 shift differential

What do we manufacture?

Chocolate and Peanut M&Ms

Required Shift:


  • 12 hour rotating shift including days, nights and weekends

  • Rotation of 4 days "on" and 4 days "off" (First two days will be day shift and last two days are night shift)

Job Purpose:

The Production Assistant is responsible for a set of machines, pieces of equipment and/ or processes within our manufacturing facility.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED or above

  • Mechanical aptitude and/or willing to learn and be trained on manufacturing equipment/machinery

  • Must be willing and able to workvarying/rotating shifts includingweekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:


  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs) & pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs).

  • Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.

  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs & lean over equipment.

  • Stand on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).

  • Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.

  • Fluent in English- Read, write, speak and understand

  • *This is a PEANUT facility

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of hand on experience working in the manufacturing industry

  • Mechanical or technical training

  • Fork lift driving experience

What will be your key responsibilities?


  • Accountable for the performance and safety of several machines, processes, people or pieces of equipment in the plant

  • Starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.

  • Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover

  • Part of a shift team of up to 15+ associates contribute to achievement of targets

Compensation:


  • Pay based on experience: Starting at $20.14/Hr+

  • Shift differential of $1.50

  • OT potential

  • Annual bonus pay out
