Job Description



Position Summary



The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of both the Delivery Support and Supplier Support teams with 20+ direct reports. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of both teams, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and enhance overall performance. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including staff, clients, and suppliers, to establish and maintain effective relationships. Additionally, the manager will leverage reporting to help analyze data related to various activities, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong leadership skills, an ability to handle high-pressure situations, and a proven track record of successfully leading complex operations.



Key Responsibilities



  • Establish clear employee performance expectations and goals to drive accountability


  • Manage employee performance by providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring


  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among employees to promote a positive work environment


  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and performance


  • Make informed decisions and develop action plans to drive organizational success


  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategies to ensure their effectiveness


  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other business partners


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for mutual growth and success


  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance processes, increase efficiency, and drive overall performance


  • Stay informed about industry best practices and implement them to continuously improve organizational operations


  • Ensure teams are following all documented procedures for all calls and email case work





Minimum Requirement



6+ years of Supply Chain experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.



Critical Skills




  • Strong flexibility and availability in work schedule is paramount, as this role will be responsible for overseeing the Delivery Support team, which includes the coordination and leadership of overnight shift.



  • Strong computer skills showing proficiency using Microsoft suite of software applications, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)


  • Strong employee development, training/coaching experience as well as creating and following through on knowledge articles.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: adept at cultivating and nurturing positive relationships with colleagues across all organizational levels, fostering a harmonious environment among team members, as well as fostering strong connections with external stakeholders and other divisions within McKesson.


  • Proficient in employing creative problem-solving techniques to identify and implement effective solutions.





Additional Skills



  • Demonstrates a capacity for critical self-reflection and a willingness to receive feedback on leadership behaviors, adapting and making necessary modifications as needed.


  • Knowledge/experience with Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, and Tableau software applications preferred.Experience in a fast-paced work environment with fluctuating demand for services is essential.


  • Excellent organizational skills.

Our Base Pay Range for this position



$72,500 - $120,800
