RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SOC Analyst in Hollywood, FL.

Summary:
A Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst is a cybersecurity professional who monitors and responds to an organization's cybersecurity infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• SOC Analyst will monitor security events and logs from various systems and networks


• Analyze security alerts and determine their validity; They also investigate suspicious activities and perform in-depth analysis


• Respond to security incidents by identifying the root cause, containing the threat, and restoring normal operations


• Document incidents and create reports to provide to stakeholders


• SOC Analyst will improve existing security protocols and develop and maintain security incident response plans


• Provide technical guidance and training to other members of the security team


• Keep up with the latest threat intelligence and emerging types of cyber threats


• Collaborate with other team members to implement security procedures and best practices


• As a SOC Analyst, you are often part of a larger team that covers threat intelligence, information security analysis, and incident response

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
