Job Summary



The Department of Rheumatology is searching for a visionary leader to provide strategic direction to the growth of this vital program. In addition, this position will provide medical leadership related to quality, clinical initiatives, education, and research. As a safety-net hospital, ideal candidates for St. Christopher's will have an interest and passion for serving our high-needs community and a willingness to partner with us as we eliminate healthcare bias and inequalities. Candidates will bring at least 5 years of leadership experience.


Qualifications





  • Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.)

  • Completion of a pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology

  • Board certification

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership accomplishments

  • An interpersonal skillset that focuses on team-building

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania.
