You will be working for a Nationwide, full-service construction firm offering design build services across sectors including, but not limited to, Medical, Industrial and Wider Commercial.


Based out of their Denver Office, located in Centennial, you will cover Projects across the Front Range.


Position Overview


The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Construction will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities within the company. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in construction management, project delivery, and team leadership. The SVP of Construction will play a critical role in driving the success of our construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage the construction division, including project managers, site supervisors, and other construction personnel.

  • Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with other senior executives to align construction activities with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the construction team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to keep the company at the forefront of construction innovation.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.

  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
