Unit Coordinator- Cardiac Surgery Step Down- Ellison 8




Ellison 8 is a thirty-six bed adult Cardiac Surgical Step Down Unit located in Boston, MA, USA. The unit seeking a medical administrative professional for a part-time opportunity with availability every Saturday and Sunday (7am-7:30pm).


Patients are primarily admitted postoperatively from the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit and admitted pre-op for cardiac surgery. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class healthcare team and make an important impact on patient care.

Qualifications

  Required: High School diploma, or GED


• 
  Preferred: Associate Degree.


• Medical or health care experience desirable, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates.


• EPIC experience, or basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and procedures


• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to solve basic patient and practice problems


• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff and providers
