What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will locate and set equipment, structural members, and assemble welded pipe spools with allowable tolerances

  • In this role, you will check spools with drawings and determine the line is ready to install, as well as to lift, position, and assemble components within allowable tolerances

  • In addition, you will check material for correct grade, type, and size prior to installation

  • Ensure piping is clean internally of foreign particles (grit, weld slag, etc.) prior to assemble is important for this role

  • You will coordinate hydro testing with Assembly Department Lead or Supervisor and Quality

  • Control to determine correct pressure and method of conducting test is part of your role

  • Productivity level must consistently equal the company's established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions

  • Follow LPP safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual

  • You will ensure the work area is cleaned and organized by the end of the work shift


What makes you great


  • You have two (2) years applicable assembly experience and have already performed assembly assignments with general supervision

  • Moreover, you can read and interpret drawings with minimal assistance and you have knowledge in proper operation of cranes and power tools

  • Further, you have the ability to learn the knowledge of equipment such as vessels, relief devices, pumps, compressors, coolers, instruments, exchangers, filters, etc.

  • You are familiar with the use of hydro test equipment, blind flanges, stud bolts, and gaskets

  • Also, you must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the quality and safety standards

  • This position is a safety sensitive position, you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, including but not limited to (forklifts, cranes, tractor trailers, operating machinery, etc.)
