CUMULUS MEDIA | Dallas has an immediate opening for a News Anchor/Reporter/Producer. The ideal candidate understands story selection, the power of audio and sound, and the ability to grab the listener with compelling, fast-paced storytelling. Now, we just need you to help us win. Social media skills (Facebook), (X), Instagram, etc. are a must. You must also be willing to hit the street and report when needed. We prefer the ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in broadcast news, and possesses an extremely excellent work ethic, displays a positive attitude, is a self-starter, and can immediately contribute to our award-winning news department.

Worth metro area: KTCK 1310/96.7 The Ticket, KPLX 99.5 The Wolf, New Country 96.3, WBAP 820 and 93-3 FM News/Talk, KLIF-AM 570 News and Information. Responsibilities:

• Write and voice news stories including outside of the newsroom.
• Write news stories for the station websites.
• Post new stories on social media.
• Handles emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather disasters/breaking news.
• Individual will perform various news duties as needed, with the potential of working overnight or early morning hours, and some anchoring as necessary

Job Requirements:



Qualifications:

• 3-5 years' experience in medium-to-major market broadcast news
• Highly organized with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent On-Air delivery.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of digital and social media.
• Thorough understanding of web posting.
