Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator in Chantilly, VA.

Key Tasks:


  • Human Resource Coordinator will visit, reserve, and confirm the meeting space off-site but close by in Chantilly, VA; Assure there is internet/Wi-Fi connectivity at the site; Ensure they have a printer available for team use during sessions

  • Gather the meeting tools (poster paper, notepads, pens, etc.)

  • Shop for and deliver the continental breakfast items, snacks, and drinks to the meeting space

  • Order and assure delivery of the food for lunch

  • Make dinner reservations for the team

  • Take meeting/event notes

  • As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will photograph and gather the flip chart notes

  • Be available for any errands each of the 3 days

  • Perform any other duty as related to the meeting as requested







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of related experience in event management or a related field, specifically for corporate events

  • Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with vendors

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously

  • Knowledge of event budgeting and financial management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have excellent attention to detail

  • Strong customer service skillset






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
