As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you support our life saving mission by providing skilled technical support in the laboratory as you perform high complexity testing for our hospital partners.

• Perform high complexity testing including stem cell processing, CBC differentials, antibody identification, antigen screens, cross match, absorptions, and elution


• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment; analyzes complex problems; and recommends additional service, as needed.


• Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.


• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.


• Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required.


• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or BB /SBB Certification required.
