Responsibilities
You Must be in Eastern Time Zone
Serves as the first contact for potential claimants and client companies prior to the start of GENEX’s Social Security Disability representation services.
Makes initial contact to individuals to sell and explain services while also providing excellent customer service to insure claimants understand the SSDI process
Explains how SSDI works with the individual’s current Long Term Disability policy.
Fields calls and leads, screens potential clients for Social Security eligibility, explains services provided, and determines if the claim will be accepted.
Sends GENEX’s representation packet to potential claimants. Explains forms to the claimant and follows up persistently in order to have the forms returned.
Reviews initially received claims from LTD carriers to evaluate the feasibility of the claim for SSDI eligibility
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School diploma required; some college preferred
Experience: Customer service experience with claimants, client companies, and/or corporate personnel preferred. Experience with 1696 Social Security forms strongly preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment, strong organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication and customer relations skills, ability to adhere to schedules and follow departmental procedures within set time frames, ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $13.08 - $18.75 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
