OVERVIEW:



The Global Head of Real Estate and Workplace Services will drive the real estate footprint strategy and operational planning for Alteryx offices globally. The director will lead the teams responsible for transactions, lease management, design and construction, workplace services, physical security and risk management. The leader is responsible for establishing and implementing process and structure to the overall operations globally while delivering direction and development to their respective team. The role reports to the CFO.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Leads strategy for global Real Estate portfolio. Conducts analysis in support of real estate transactions and data-led decisioning.

  • Actively leads in the selection, evaluation, acquisition, occupation, management and/or disposition of office space in compliance with company policy and local requirements taking into account the employee experience.

  • Partners with senior executives, regional leaders, and other key cross-functional stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored real estate solutions.

  • Manages compliance with lease agreements and contracts and participates in negotiation efforts.

  • Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company. Oversees the long-term objectives for all departmental functions relating to real estate and workplace services.

  • Oversees all global workplace services initiatives and FM-sponsored employee programs.

  • Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.

  • Develop and manage the real estate and facilities budget, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial targets.

  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

  • Provides direction to group/senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.

  • Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives.

  • Continuously evaluate and identify innovative ways to streamline and enhance service to maximize processes


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • BS/BA degree (or equivalent work experience) required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership managing teams and influencing senior-level leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to lead corporate-wide, global initiatives

  • Experience leading high performing teams and building culture

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, gain consensus among various teams, and effectively drive initiatives to completion

  • Continuous improvement mindset, ability to multitask, excellent communication and effective collaboration skills across all levels

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines

  • Acute attention to details; strong business judgment and autonomy

  • High impact and clear communication skills to articulate a coherent strategy and plan, which instills confidence and trust

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to exercise good judgment

  • Expert skills in communicating with C Suite executives
