Program Overview:

Are you an innovative, forward-thinker who would like to make an impact with the Fortune 50 company behind Xfinity, NBCUniversal, and more? Comcast's Northeast Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated intern participants who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation though our immersive summer experience!

Our 10-week paid internship program gives participants hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast's Central Division. As a member of the team, you will gain invaluable knowledge of the industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business.

As you get an inside look into the day-to-day operations of a cutting-edge media and technology company, you'll work on creative, impactful, and thought-provoking projects with various business units. With many exhilarating experiences built into one internship, you will have the opportunity to take center stage and showcase your summer projects during the final Summer Showcase.

Role Overview:

As an Intern participating with the Digital Media Services team, you will operate within a dynamic working environment. We are an in-house creative and production agency providing video content, production, and business support to Comcast's Northeast Division. This includes but is not limited to; live meeting video production (on location, hybrid, and virtual), custom-crafted content, video series, sizzle reels, podcasts, video event production coverage, in-the-field video production shoots, and broadcast engineering support within an $8M+ revenue driving Leased Access business. As you contribute to the meaningful work our team is doing, you will interact with our senior leadership team and network with other cross-functional employees.

This role is an exciting opportunity that will focus on supporting the execution of significant projects that will require exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset to succeed within a fast-paced environment.

• Contributetostrategy and messaging,reviews,and editscontent ofmaterials to ensure content meets established communications standards and guidelinesduring the production process


• Support the timeliness and efficiency of Creative & Production, Engineering & Operations, and Business Support for the Digital Media Services Team


• Keep videos and communications fresh, creative, and engaging with great writing and design


• Creatively solve business issues through innovation of new ideas


• Collaborate closely with key internal partners to execute project plans designed to meet Comcast's objectives


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university


• Authorized to work in the United States of America


• Ability to work 35-40 hours per week over 10 weeks


• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance


• Ability to work in both independent and collaborative environments

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and professional presence


• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Background:

• Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences, or campus organizations


• Currently pursuing a major in Video/Television/Film Production, Television Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or related fields


• Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries

Salary:

Base Pay: $22.00
