CERTIFIED PAYROLL & ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST


REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field (preferred not required)


• Registered Notary Public (preferred not required)


• 5+ years of related construction industry experience


• Highly organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to deal with changing priorities


• Expereince in the construction indutry is required


• Experience with Prevailing Wage/Certified payroll


• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with a great attitude


• Self starter with a strong work ethic and time management skills


• Ability to work and interact professionally with all levels of the organization in a team environment


DUTIES:


• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Research and prepare monthly billing


• Prepare monthly journal and cash entries


• Open new jobs in accounting software ensuring correct budget information


• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and project profitability


• Payroll with knowledge of Prevailing wage rules, certified payroll reporting, & DIR, LCP Tracker, eMARS, eCPR entry


• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports


COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100K (DEPENDING ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
