Job Description:

Position Summary:



The Export Logistics Coordinator manages the delivery of product to international customers, oversees rail shipments at each facility, and provides support to the sales team.



Location: Wilsonville, OR

Duration: Contract to Hire

Compensation: $25-$30/hr.


Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Ensure delivery of exported products by:

    • booking and managing shipments with freight forwarders

    • preparing, acquiring, and distributing all necessary export documents

    • invoicing customers and monitoring payments



• Provide invoicing and sales support for the sales team by entering orders, answering phones, and responding to emails


• Prepare monthly CPA reports


• Track and monitor all rail freight from origin to destination


• Order empty railcars and coordinate with each mill on equipment needs


• Manage monthly and weekly fuel surcharges for rail and trucking as well as all rail freight and routes


• Oversee demurrage and dispute freight bills as needed


• On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities


Required Skills and Abilities:



• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills


• Excellent time-management and organizational skills


Education and Experience:



• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience


• Minimum of 2+ years of export/railroad experience


• Experience utilizing inventory management software preferred
