In office with some hybrid flexibility.

Billable Hour Requirement: 1700 annually



Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly motivated Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position focuses primarily on insurance defense and includes a significant amount of work with construction defects and some government entities. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction defect litigation, complex litigation, or a background in personal injury or workers' compensation cases.



Key Responsibilities:



Defend clients in civil litigation matters, with a strong emphasis on insurance defense.


Represent insurance companies and government entities in a range of litigation matters.


Manage a diverse caseload, including personal injury claims, construction defects, and workers' compensation cases.


Work closely with a team that handles legal matters for government entities and various municipalities.


Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and handle all aspects of litigation, from discovery to trial and appeals.


Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring clear communication and effective legal strategies.



Qualifications:



Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.


Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.


3+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense, construction defect, or complex litigation.


Experience with government entity work is a plus.


Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills.


Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.


Trial experience is preferred.



Compensation & Benefits:



$100,00-$125,000
