Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday


Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our client's team in Cranston, RI. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of press brake machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of metal fabrication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.


Responsibilities:
* Machine Set-Up: Configure and set up press brake machines based on job specifications and product requirements. Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
* Machine Operation: Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates. Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure accuracy.
* Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications. Make necessary adjustments to maintain precision and quality standards.
* Material Handling: Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products.
Safely handle and store materials to prevent damage.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
* Follow detailed instructions to produce accurate and high-quality components.
* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubrication. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions for timely repairs.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
* Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices.


Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator in a metal fabrication environment.
* Experience with Cincinnati, Amada and CNC Machines
* Proficient in the set-up and operation of press brake machines.
* Familiarity with various metals, gauges, and thicknesses.
* Blueprint Reading
* High level of precision and attention to detail in all tasks.
* Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate heavy metal sheets.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
