High level of proficiency in MS office suite, particularly Microsoft excel to create forecasting/procurement models based off of historical and forecasted sales information.
Experience working with Contract manufacturers.
Experience with Product life cycle management: End of Life products, Supply chain Transitions and change notices.
Working understanding of shipping, logistics and Incoterms, both domestic and international.
Working understanding of Inventory and warehouse Management
Required:
Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in materials management working with contract and/or OEM manufacturers, preferably in the electronics industry
Bachelors in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Purchasing
Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Power Point, expert in Excel
Working knowledge of modern ERP or IMS system; MISys and QuickBooks preferred
Experience working with a global supplier base
Responsive with good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated individual with a focus on meeting goals and solving problems
The ability to maintain a positive attitude while dealing with uncertainty and managing dynamic situations
Some travel, both domestic and international, to suppliers of up to 10% may be required.
