Job Details:



This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.



8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (Might be required to work some Saturdays and holidays)




Minimum of 1 year of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of a maintenance training program. (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year.



Physical requirements: Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting 40+ pounds is required in many areas. Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders. Must have good hand-eye coordination.


Job Requirements: This facility may work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. Scheduling can include some major holidays.
Must be able to obtain a company license.
Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout) .
Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and Tyson rules, regulations, standards, and policy.


Working conditions: Must be able to work in all weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot. Must be able to work in a dusty environment.



180 days wait period from last termination date, 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
