ABOUT THE JOB



The Licensed Chiropractor is responsible for helping patients achieve better alignment, movement and function of the spine and extremities. Their duties include meeting with patients to discuss their current ailments, summarizing potential treatment options for patients and using their hands or specific tools to alleviate musculoskeletal pain. The Chiropractor will provide appropriate supervision and training for a chiropractor assistant per state law. In addition, the Chiropractor will help support the client in the worksite as needed with wellness initiatives and other requested worksite support. The Chiropractor will maintain a positive working relationship and collaboration with other health professionals and ancillary staff.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Consulting with the patient about their intake form and medical history and the reason for their visit.

  • Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient's overall health and wellbeing.

  • Conduct appropriate physical examination, assessing the patient's musculoskeletal system function to determine applicable treatment.

  • Performing neuromusculoskeletal treatment by adjusting/manipulating the patient's spine and extremity articulations.

  • Providing supplemental treatments, such as soft tissue mobilization, acupuncture, dry needling, taping, cupping, hot/cold application, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise within their training and the state scope of practice.

  • Order/Interpret diagnostic studies including X-Ray, MRI, CT, EMG, NCV, US, and lab work to assist with evaluation and treatment of patent concern or injury.

  • Create a plan for treatment and management, applying appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes, using the data collected to promote the patient's overall health and wellbeing.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the health center and externally on patient care.

  • Provide patients with lifestyle information regarding nutrition, exercise, sleep, musculoskeletal and overall health issues

  • Maintain accurate patient records according to Everside Health policy, state and federal regulations.

  • Maintain credentialing and active licensure and keep up to date with developments in Chiropractic care by attending conferences and workshops.

  • Refer patients to other doctors or specialists, as needed.

  • Directly supervise chiropractor assistant(s) per state rules and regulations.




QUALIFICATIONS



Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited program. Valid state license and certification from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). Liability insurance (if applicable). Current BLS certification. 3+ years of experience, preferred prior experience working in a primary care or multidisciplinary setting.

Pay Range: $112,000 - $130,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.
