Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

• Building and maintaining full-stack cloud-native software solutions for external customers.


• Building and maintaining internal CLI and web services for internal customers.


• Researching and documenting emerging technologies and what problems they solve.


• Applying research to create and present prototypes to stakeholders.


• Triaging and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.


• Supporting SEL's software engineering and lifecycle processes.


• Meeting with mentors to improve systems-level thinking and engineering skillsets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building frontends, backends, and databases.


• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Typescript, Python, Go, and Java.


• Experience with web UI technologies such as React, Vue, Svelte, and Blazor.


• Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Pay Range Data:



We anticipate filling this position as a Software Engineer $60,800 - $95,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
