About the Position

As a Business Intelligence Engineer within DBA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Supply Chain operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our Senior BI Engineer in designing, developing, and delivering innovative BI reports that enhance the efficiency of data collection and evaluation. You will engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and support critical Supply Chain BI goals and objectives, driving competitive research efforts. Your expertise in creating high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations will be instrumental in providing actionable insights and driving business decisions.

Responsibilities:


  • In collaboration with Sr BI Engineer and Supply Chain business, proactively identify areas in which business intelligence efforts can add business value and drive operational improvements.

  • Collaborate with Sr BI Engineer and Product Owner and/or Product Analyst to understand BI needs, gather business requirements and deliver BI solutions that provide actionable insights

  • Design and develops business intelligence dashboards, analytic reports and data visualizations using Power BI, as well as other reporting tools (as needed)

  • Assist in the development of highly engaging dashboard visualizations and use innovative functions & features in dashboard design

  • Ensure accuracy of reports and dashboards through quality assurance

  • Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from various sources

  • Promote self- service reporting across business users and provide coaching to teams and power users as needed

  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, enhanced data quality, and reporting capabilities

Domain Expertise:


  • 3-5 years’ experience in BI development, data analysis, or a related role

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience

  • Experience building reports within Power BI or another BI tool (Tableau and/or MicroStrategy). Proficient in building measures, calculated columns, and custom fields

  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating to technical details

  • Experience in working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL)

  • Understanding of dimensional data modeling

  • Nice-To-Have: DAX, Power Query, and data modeling as well as understanding of Power BI workspaces, deployment pipelines, parameters, and deployment rules.

Agile/Digital Experience:

  • Experience in Agile Development as a Data Visualization engineer (or similar) experience is a plus

Individual Skills:


  • Able to understand and articulate business requirements effectively for developing business intelligence tools

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality

  • Strong communication skills to communicate complex ideas effectively

Physical Requirements/Work Environment


  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

The salary range for this role is:

$66,600.00 - $139,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
