SharePoint/Power Platform Developer – Grant Leading Technology


 


Grant Leading Technology is seeking a mid to senior level SharePoint developer / site collection administrator to design, implement and manage SharePoint based solutions in a federal environment. Candidates must be well acquainted with SharePoint Designer, Power Platform and in key concepts such as collaboration, workflow, content management, document management, and business intelligence / reporting. Candidates should have good working knowledge of using API’s REST, Graph, CSOM and SQL development. Preferred candidates will demonstrate understanding of SharePoint development maturity model and application lifecycle management.


This position will be remote, and the hours are 8 – 5pm EST 


Additional job functions include:



  • Assess business process and suitability for solution implementation using the Microsoft SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online platform.

  • Experience in developing and supporting applications using Angular, React, jQuery, CSOM SharePoint lists/libraries

  • Experience in developing and supporting integrations using Rest, Graph, CSOM API’s

  • Experience in creating and administering SharePoint Online Modern sites.

  • Experience in developing workflows using Power Automate in O365

  • Experience in customizing list forms using Power Apps

  • Implementing SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online best practices for intranet development.

  • Leveraging Office 365 cloud-based platform to build custom apps using Microsoft Common Data Model and Power BI.

  • Provide content management strategies for intranet and extranet websites on SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online platform.

  • Design solutions based on established patterns and best practices around Content Management, User Adoption, Governance and Change Management.

  • Design and develop apps for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, JavaScript, OAuth, and OData.

  • Datawarehouse development, maintenance and database development and maintenance.

  • Conduct Code Migration, Configuration Management, Server Migration Data Analysis, Control Totals Debugging and Audit Reports.

  • Data Testing, Unit Testing, Script Testing, Data Analysis and Report Analysis.

  • Provide Visio/UML Diagrams, schema models, and PowerPoint presentations, where appropriate.

  • Proficiency using different systems/software/languages/API’s, such as SharePoint 2013/2016,2019, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint Designer, jQuery, Visual Studio.NET, Microsoft Office/Office 365, SQL Developer, Toad, TFS, SVN, Tortoise, Windows, Rest, Graph, CSOM 


Qualifications and Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT management, other IT degrees. Engineering, Math, and Science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Business Process Automation.

  • Three to five (3-5) years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Dataverse.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of driving process improvements.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities when appropriate.

  • Must be a U.S. resident, authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to pass public trust clearance. 


Preferred Skills:



  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, Data Analysis, or a related field.

  • Power Automate Certification(s) or other relevant Microsoft certifications.

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet for project management and process tracking.

  • Experience with Human Resources processes, particularly in automating HR functions.

  • Federal government experience, particularly within agencies utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, is a plus.
