The Business Execution Consultant will act as a key advisor in support of Banking's Risk Leaders and LOB COOs with a focus on CIB Banking's risk and control programs.

In this role, you will:
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Lending group's control suite, in conjunction and partnership with CIB Banking's Control group.
  • Draft and maintain control procedure documents inventory for both existing control suite and new controls
  • Work with Banking Control organization to review new/revised Enterprise policies and update CIB Banking control procedures as needed to address requirements
  • Identify business trends and self-identify gaps where operational and compliance risk could result in material risk to the business and propose/assess new controls as needed
  • Provide insight and execution in other areas of Banking's risk program infrastructure as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of traditional Corporate Banking Lending process within CIB Banking or Commercial Banking, including relationship management, credit/loan underwriting, and portfolio management
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and propose and implement solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas to drive results and effect change
  • Proven ability to exercise independent and proactive leadership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in relation to people at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle and execute high volume of competing priorities within strict deadlines
  • Enthusiasm to take on new and challenging tasks in dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in credit underwriting/portfolio management preferred, including knowledge and understanding of nCino
Job Expectations:
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit, loan underwriting, lending risk and control

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations
  • Enthusiasm to take on new and challenging tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with nCino system preferred
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
