About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director to lead the build out of a strategic portfolio of technology solutions, focused on reconciliations, within the Wholesale Operations group, organized under the COO.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead Business Execution team for the build out of the reconciliation solutions short and long-term, using primarily the Xceptor tool, ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Identify innovative and strategic Business Execution opportunities, including Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence, for process improvement and risk control development in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Reconciliations may range from simple/complex issues
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Collaborate and influence senior functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Financial Experience
  • 3+ years of low-code or no-code build out experience
  • 5+ years of strategic planning experience
  • 5+ years of change execution experience
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Prior experience building innovative and successful teams from the ground up whose responsibilities varied between long-term implementations and short-term but impactful initiatives
  • Proven record of impact and influence at the senior leadership level and ability to build positive, trusting work relationships
  • Experience helping drive strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and providing data and recommendations to business leaders/managers on various areas of improvement
  • Proven experience with process improvement, problem resolution and change management experience
  • Experience developing presentations and facilitating meetings, communicating objectives and statuses, and drive to deliver timely and high-quality results
  • Strong communications skills - will be direct liaison with senior Operations staff
