Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team! This team is hybrid in Frisco, Texas with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
Duties:
Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collect operational data
Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions
Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitor variances; identify trends; recommend actions to management
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinate information requirements
Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review publications
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
