Job Description:
Global Category Manager - PackagingHybrid; Must be Local to Rosemont, IL will be expected to be on site 2-3 days per week.Travel is up to 35% to various location to include Mexico.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Packaging supplies in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, managing complex multi-year relationships to support front-end portfolio strategies.
- Plan, organize, and communicate strategic sourcing activities related to assigned commodities and services.
- Analyze global markets, inform leadership about market trends, and translate procurement strategy into actionable plans.
- Build and expand procurement methods and technology to enhance efficiency in sourcing from multiple suppliers.
- Conduct business reviews of service providers, analyze spend data, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
