We are partnered with a well-established general contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects in the commercial, retail/restaurant, and automotive sectors.

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of construction projects, from inception to completion. You will manage multiple commercial, retail, and automotive projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure the highest quality standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction projects ranging from $1-$5m in the commercial, retail/restaurant, and automotive sectors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and detailed work plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project status.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and closeout reports.
  • Manage procurement of materials, resources, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the commercial, retail, restaurant, or automotive construction sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and building codes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
