Position Overview:
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions using the Salesforce Lightning platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Salesforce development, including Lightning components, and have a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient solutions in a complex banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce Lightning applications and components.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, and other developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Enhance and optimize Salesforce solutions to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
Implement best practices for Salesforce development, including coding standards, testing procedures, and deployment strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce Lightning and related integrations.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
Stay current with Salesforce updates and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions are innovative and up-to-date.
Document technical designs, code, and other relevant information to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce Lightning.
Proven experience in developing Lightning components, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and best practices.
Experience with Salesforce administration tasks, including user management and security settings.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the financial services industry or with banking applications.
Knowledge of integration tools and technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
