Our client is a large, national, real estate investment/development company who was awarded the development rights for a massive 2,300 acre project in Phoenix adjacent to the new $65B semiconductor manufacturing plant (TSMC). Our client has been active in Phoenix for over 35 years, but due to the size and longevity of this project they are looking for a Vice President of Land Development to run the "horizontal" development for this very large and high-profile project.
This Vice President of Land Development will focus on the multi-phased horizontal improvement plan from conception to completion that is expected to cost several hundred million dollars and last 5-10+ years.
Key details:
Work with the President of the company and other senior team members to coordinate and manager all aspects of the project
Oversee the master planning and land/infrastructure development for entire project
This Land Development Manager will work closely with a Land Construction Manager (who will oversee the infrastructure construction)
Manage and coordinate entitlement process, budget preparation, scheduling, reporting
Manage all permitting and work with consultants
Assist with the transition to land buyers
This is a very important position and our client is looking for a seasoned land development professional with experience in the Phoenix market.
Ideal Candidate:
An ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years of real estate development and/or construction experience with significant land planning/development work (in Phoenix).
Someone with civil/infrastructure/land development experience on a large master-planned project(s) would be an ideal fit.
Experience with large industrial or mixed-use projects is preferred (but not required)
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or similar is preferred
